Then, Mr.Visee,would you please give Chinese readers a biref introduction of your company?
SELDES - Sunrise ELectronic DESsign - was created in the year 2000. I bring 21 years of experience in design of vision components for 3 Belgian companies like ICOS Vision Systems and Euresys. During the 2 first years SELDES activities were design services in vision. The first own product was re-configurable framegrabber called "Chameleon". Key technology was directly oriented to the flexibility to interface any camera and the realtime image processing in programmable logic. For this reason SELDES is a young but experimented SME with a wide potential of innovation. The main markets covered by our company are those of industrial, medical and intelligent video surveillance.
2.European machinevision markets develop early and keep ahead in technology, at the same time, its companies are much bigger than those in China in machinevision. Machinevision in Belgium is also powerful, so would you please introduce machinevision market in your country generally? For example, which industries machinevision used more widly in Belgium.
In Belgium machinevision market is occupied by SME and larger companies busy on various inspection markets for semiconductor industry, traffic analysis, food quality control... In general we see much more enduser products manufacturers that OEM manufacturers of vision components like SELDES.
3. Can you introduce what kinds of machinevision products your company offers from the beginning SELDES S.A founded up to now and what technology your company expert in ?
Basically SELDES offers 2 types of products : re-configurable framegrabbers called "Chameleon" and embedded vision systems called "Cougar". The company is expert in 5 technologies : acquisition of images from all type of camera, realtime image processing in programmable logic, embedded vision systems, embedded web server. The last technology is design of specialized CCD and CMOS cameras.
4. How do you think about machinevision in China in your eyes? Are you interested in China? Do you wish to enter China market if possible?
I think that China will manufacture more industrial equipment in the future and then will need more vision components like embedded vision systems specifically adapted for each type of equipment. For that reason we are interested to enter in this market.
5.How much do you learn about China's machinevision companies? We know that a lot of foreign companies have already bougth parts even system equipments from China. May you choose Chinese products to your machinevision products if you need in future?
I don't know in detail about China's machine vision companies but we see clearly a positive future evolution in cooperation between end users and OEM manufacturers from China and Europe.
6.The leader plays a very important role in a company acrossing the company's development. Finally, would you please make a short sel-introduction and we believe that Chinese readers will be very interested in.
I am engineer in electronic from high school in Belgium. My experience was mainly in design of various electronic circuits for acquisition and processing of images applied to banking documents and electronic components inspection. Before creating SELDES during about 10 years I manage R＆D team and get also experience in market analysis and was responsible for specifications of new products
